From Here On Down, It’s All Uphill

Fall is a busy time in the music business. And since that is our business … you guessed it. We’re busy. Let’s see here:

Jim will be doing an acoustic set opening for Frank Turner, a British folk/punk artist, at Low Spirits on Tuesday, October 12. Doors at 8:00 pm.

On Friday, October 15, we’re playing Burque Bop at Harwood Art Center. This is a fundraiser for The Harwood Art Center and Cottonwood Gulch Foundation. It’s also a fun way for parents who like live local music to see bands that usually play out late at night. I will play an acoustic set and then the Robot will go to work on you. 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Kids are free. $5-7 donation at the door for adults.

We have finished shooting for the Cross My Heart and Hope You Die video and it’s off to editing. On Saturday, October 16, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm we’ll be shooting another video at our rehearsal space on 1st and Roma. Come and join us for some videography and see where the Robot puts this nonsense together. Sign up for your spot here.

That brings us to Sunday, October 17, at the Launchpad. We’ll be playing an early show opening for Bettie Serveert, a super-cool Dutch indie band. Doors open at 7:00 pm 21+ $10

S’all for now. Come on out and say hello. You can’t miss us. We’re the ones having a fabulous time.
