A Little Sincerity is a Dangerous Thing

Okay, we should chat.

There are big things. And there are BIG things. Lousy Robot will be opening for the Lemonheads on Saturday, February 4, at Launchpad. They will be performing It’s a Shame About Ray in its entirety. That record was the Bible to me. We are all beside ourselves. We’ll see you there.

Also, our listens and downloads have taken a huge leap. We wanted to take a moment to thank you for that. We love you like crazy.

Tackles, injuries, surgeries, new record underway, etc. That’s all the rest.

Scooters and Lousy Robot together at last.

The nice people over at Scooter Works decided they loved “Have You Ever Been Afraid of The Future?” so much that they used it in one of their promotional videos.

Dont blame us if after watching it you have the urge to buy that scooter.

Hello Mr. & Mrs. Ship and All the Americans at Sea

All three Lousy Robot records were created with the generous help of quite a lot of other amazing people. Some musicians, some not. Salim Nourallah’s Pleasantry Lane Studio in Dallas has been our second home for nearly a decade and Salim has inspired and created right along side Lousy Robot. He is as much a part of this band as any full-time member.

Salim recently guest DJ’d for the Indie-Verse and was kind enough to spin some Robot. We’re on at about 43:15, but the whole thing is worth a listen. And a new track from Salim’s upcoming record, Hit Parade, is at the end. You’ll want to stick around for that.

Enjoy the show and we’ll see you out and about.
